In 1988, The Prince Edward arrived in Canada carrying documents from his mother, HRH Queen Elizabeth II, granting the right for Canada, in her name, to grant Armorial Bearings to deserving Canadians. In 2005, Taylor|Sprules was granted the right to petition the Crown, in this case the Canadian Heraldic Authority, for a grant of arms to celebrate its thirtieth birthday.
