StonePoint Global Brands, a T|S client for over 15 years, saw an opportunity to target the "Mini Bar" category by building a new pathway for customer engagement through the Hotel guest room shopping experience. The term "in-room shopping" was developed by T|S to capture the concept and express the possibilities.
To pursue this opportunity, StonePoint created an associate firm. The name, developed by T|S, was Sterling & Oxford. The S&O brand was strategically positioned in the marketplace by T|S as a company that builds brand loyalty for its clients (some of the largest hotels in the world) by creating a better guest experience, T|S differentiated it from all of the competition. And in a marketplace that is a perennial loser for more than 50% of all "Mini Bar" installations, the S&O offering has built profit with more turns from day
one for its clients.
